CBS Online Poll: Who won the Republican Debate?

Now that the debate’s over, it’s time to consider the winners and losers.

Who do you think won the Republican debate?

Ron Paul

34,415

Mitt Romney

4,279

Nobody won. I’m voting Democratic.

3,204

Rudy Giuliani

3,104

Nobody. I’m waiting for Fred Thompson or Newt Gingrich to enter the race.

2,795

Mike Huckabee

2,582

Sam Brownback

1,034

Tommy Thompson

751

Tom Tancredo

731

John McCain

703

Duncan Hunter

409

Total Vote: 54,007

Not a scientific survey.

I don’t get it Ron Paul kills in online polls, but is not even in the top three on regular polls.

  1. whats not to get? he hasa very narrow base, and they are here. Have you seen any poll that isn’t online that had anyone but Mitt winning?

  2. Yes, actually, Romney has not been on top for a while. You make an interesting point that Paul’s supporters seem to be on the internet. My question is, are they going to vote? Will the internet change the outcome of the Republican primary?

  3. Ron Paul supporters are passionate because they feel that they are helping to save the United States from a bleak future, they/we show our passion by constantly searching out new articles and videos on him and voting in online polls. As our grassroots organizations across the country start building up more and more momentum, hopefully that will translate into real world numbers.
