The Uncooperativebloggers/ Radio show’s State of the Union Address

The State of the Union sucks. There ya go people. No matter what our President/Caesar and our elected cockroaches did, said, or promised tonight, do not believe it. The Constitution is the solution!!! Did ya hear that word tonight? NOOOOOOOO. WhyYYYYY! And no, we did not watch it tonight. Brian was sick all day, but we did record it. Oh, and by the way, it is Unconstitutional to televise the State of the Union Address. It was only meant to be given to the congress and the senate. Not to “we the people”. We will review this on our radio show this Thursday 1/27/11 @7pmest, on uncooperativeradio.com.

Americans Skeptical of Science Behind Global Warming

The Uncooperative Radio Show Host and I can’t stand that we must talk about this subject over and over and over again, but it seems we have no choice and it is not going away any time soon. Sorry 😦

From Rasmussernreorts;

Most Americans (52%) believe that there continues to be significant disagreement within the scientific community over global warming.

While many advocates of aggressive policy responses to global warming say a consensus exists, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 25% of adults think most scientists agree on the topic. Twenty-three percent (23%) are not sure.

But just in the last few days, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs seemed to reject any such disagreement in a response to a question about global warming, “I don’t think … [global warming] is quite, frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore.”

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Americans say it’s at least somewhat likely that some scientists have falsified research data to support their own theories and beliefs about global warming. Thirty-five percent (35%) say it’s Very Likely. Just 26% say it’s not very or not at all likely that some scientists falsified data.

This skepticism does not appear to be the result of the recent disclosure of e-mails confirming such data falsification as part of the so-called “Climategate” scandal. Just 20% of Americans say they’ve followed news reports about those e-mails Very Closely, while another 29% have followed them Somewhat Closely.

That’s a lower level of interest than has been shown about the White House party crashers and suggests that Americans have had their doubts about the science of global warming for some time.

Please, Please, read the rest. My Uncooperative Readers are going to need all the Amo I can give them when it comes to this issue. Trust me, it’s not going to go away. I wish it would.

Global Warming Scandal Makes Scientific Progress More Difficult, Experts Say

This story is going to continue to evolve, so I will be reporting on it again, and again. But this is important stuff. They, and what I mean by “they”, includes individuals, powerful people with lots of money, NGO’s, and world governments, are trying to take our freedoms away. Especially our freedom of choice. Choice on how we live, choice on where we live, choice on what we consume, and why we make the choices we do. Serious stuff, people.

From Fox News:

The trustworthiness of the scientific community’s global warming data pool is being called into question as the scandal over climate data continues to unfold.

The latest revelation came on Sunday with the publication of a report by The Sunday Times of London that scientists at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit in the United Kingdom confessed to throwing out most of the raw temperature data on which the theory of global warming is founded.

The loss of the data prevents other scientists from checking it to determine whether, in fact, there has been a long-term rise in global temperatures during the past century and a half.

“They are making scientific progress more difficult now,” says Willie Soon, a physicist, astronomer and climate researcher at the solar and stellar physics division of the Harvard University-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. “This is a shameful, dark day for science,” he said in an interview with FoxNews.com.

Texas oilmen lead charge of ‘green’ energy exploration

From USA Today:

HOUSTON — George Alcorn is a third-generation Texas oilman. His grandfather drilled for oil in the 1930s, then his father and his uncles followed suit.

When Alcorn, 51, looks into the future of his business, though, he doesn’t see black oil gushing from a well — he sees steam. Alcorn recently revamped his business strategy from traditional oil exploration to using abandoned wells and drilling technology to generate geothermal energy as a way to power cities.

The rough-and-tumble image of the Texas oilman may be turning “green.” An increasing number of Texas oilmen and companies are following Alcorn’s lead and swapping oil and gas production for cleaner, renewable-energy strategies.

“We’re trying to catch the new wave, not get swamped by it,” Alcorn says. “You’re going to see more oil companies doing this. There’s a great opportunity to make some money here.”

With mounting national interest in renewable energy, oil companies are starting to think in renewable terms. President Obama’s $800 billion economic stimulus, which contains incentives for renewable projects, has helped push the swing.

Those horrible terrible nasty oil companies. What are they thinking? Trying to change their ways? Oh, and by the by, your tax payer dollars were not helping them before, but they are now. Thanks America for voting “commie”.

Daylight Savings Time: Rationale And Original Idea

Susan Here; and I thought this was very interesting. I hope you will too.

From webxhibits:

First a brief definition:

The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time (called “Summer Time” in many places in the world) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.

Then some reason why we do it;

According to some sources, DST saves energy. Studies done by the U.S. Department of Transportation in 1975 showed that Daylight Saving Time trims the entire country’s electricity usage by a small but significant amount, about one percent each day, because less electricity is used for lighting and appliances. Similarly, in New Zealand, power companies have found that power usage decreases 3.5 percent when daylight saving starts. In the first week, peak evening consumption commonly drops around five percent.

The rationale behind the 1975 study of DST-related energy savings was that energy use and the demand for electricity for lighting homes is directly related to the times when people go to bed at night and rise in the morning. In the average home, 25 percent of electricity was used for lighting and small appliances, such as TVs and stereos. A good percentage of energy consumed by lighting and appliances occurred in the evening when families were home. By moving the clock ahead one hour, the amount of electricity consumed each day decreased.

And finally the Original Idea:

The idea of daylight saving was first conceived by Benjamin Franklin during his sojourn as an American delegate in Paris in 1784, in an essay, “An Economical Project.”

Frankly, I think we should just let Mother Nature do what she does when she wants and stop messing with this. There is going to be more sunlight in the summer and less in the winter “naturally”. You should follow the link and read the whole story. It’s a good one.

Democrats Put Global Warming Rider In Spending Bill

What in the name that is all Holy NOT IN THIS BILL!!! huuuuuuuuuuuh. Ok, I’m alright now.

From Newsmax:

Congressional Democrats have inserted a “dangerous” rider into an appropriations bill that would allow the Department of Interior to regulate greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., according to a release from Republicans on the House Committee on Natural Resources.

The rider to the Fiscal Year 2009 Omnibus Appropriations bill, Section 429, enables the Interior Department to withdraw two Endangered Species Act rules within 60 days of enactment.

“This would allow the Obama Administration to change rules without any public notice or public comment period, and threatens efforts to create new jobs in an already strapped economy,” the release states.

One rule exempts thousands of federal activities, including those that generate greenhouse gases, from review under the Endangered Species Act by allowing federal agencies to determine themselves whether their actions are likely to adversely affect endangered species, and whether they need scientific review, according to the Center for Biological Diversity.

The second rule exempts greenhouse gas emissions and oil development, the two leading threats to polar bears, from regulation under the Act.

“If the rules are withdrawn, then any project that increases carbon dioxide or any greenhouse gas emissions could have to consult with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service on mitigation against the potential impacts on global warming and harming of the polar bear, or else face potential lawsuits,” the committee’s statement asserts.

I guess the uncooperative husband/talk radio show host and I will be arrested and hauled off of our mountain because we run a gas generator 18 hours a day. I know I’m hysterical right? Well, not so much. In the “peoples republic of California” they are cutting off all or much of the water supply to many farms, under the auspice that they must save certain species of fish. FISH. Kill the fish, eat the fish, screw the fish! Look the bottom line is that God, yes God,God,God,(all you atheists can leave the room now) has put everything on this earth here for a purpose. He (I did say He) instilled the time bomb of NATURAL SELECTION. So let it be written, so let be said.

Bill Gates vs GM

Sorry folks but I don’t have a resource for this one. My sister sent it to me, thanks sis, :). So I don’t know if this is true or not, but I found it to be very funny. I hope you do too.

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer
industry with the auto industry and stated,

“If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving
$25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.”
In response to Bill’s comments, General Motors issued a press release stating:
If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics (and I just love this part):

1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash…….. Twice a day.

2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.

3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway y for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.

4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive – but would run on only five percent of the roads.

6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single “This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation” warning light.

7. The airbag system would ask “Are you sure?” before deploying.

8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the e door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.

9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

10. You’d have to press the “Start” button to turn the engine off.

heh,heh,heh.
