On Bravo, Kathy Griffin Mocks Bristol Palin’s ‘Leno’ Chin, Mangles Bachmann Speech

From newsbusters.org

KATHY GRIFFIN: Okay, so, Bristol Palin has this brand new chin, and I swear to god, she looks like Jay Leno. Your very own Jay Leno from Andover. Right, Andover- all right. But it’s like she took a picture of Jay Leno, went to the dentist and said, “can I have this?” It’s really- I-I, I’m just saying-it’s, like, out there. But the comedy comes in, in her statement. So, may I read you her statement, directly? Okay. I got my little notes – okay. So, uh, Bristol Palin said, “I had corrective jaw surgery.” Let’s just-let’s just take a minute. Not a chin implant, corrective jaw surgery. “Yes, it improved the way I look, but the surgery was necessary for medical reasons.” No, that-that’s true. Like, when I had my first face lift, it was ’cause I was fighting scurvy. And when I had my eye job, it was ’cause I had rickets. And for – “it was for medical reasons, so my jaw and teeth could properly realign.”Who did she blow last night

I am sooo, sooo freakin pissed about this stupid bitch. I had to have “reconstructive jaw surgery” for medical reasons. All my siblings and I, except for one had “buck teeth” (two of them still do). That condition, (and I am putting my RN with a BSN hat on), deteriorates the gum line due to mis-alignment of the teeth. I had two gum operations and was told that without “reconstruction” I would loose most of my teeth and if I had an infection in my gums it could affect my heart. It took two years and I had to have my jaw wired shut for six months to get the job done. It started in 1992, with the surgeons cracking open my upper jaw. My husband had to turn a key to a lock that was surgically implanted in my upper jaw that stretched my jaw to the point that there was a one to two inch space between my two front teeth, every night. The pain was bad and constant. I was going to Nursing school for my BSN during the whole ordeal. So screw you, you sick crazy commie bitch, Kathy Griffin, just shut the hell up. You are not funny and need to go.

Media Matters’ war against Fox

It’s getting dicey out there folks. The Left is not getting it’s way like they expected when they elected our emperor Barack Obama. We are not becoming a socialist/communist nation fast enough for them, so they have to go after the conservative media. Although, Fox is not conservative enough for me.
From the Politico

The liberal group Media Matters has quietly transformed itself in preparation for what its founder, David Brock, described in an interview as an all-out campaign of “guerrilla warfare and sabotage” aimed at the Fox News Channel.

The group, launched as a more traditional media critic, has all but abandoned its monitoring of newspapers and other television networks and is narrowing its focus to Fox and a handful of conservative websites, which its leaders view as political organizations and the “nerve center” of the conservative movement. The shift reflects the centrality of the cable channel to the contemporary conservative movement, as well as the loathing it inspires among liberals — not least among the donors who fund Media Matters’ staff of about 90, who are arrayed in neat rows in a giant war room above Massachusetts Avenue.

Notice the ramp up in tactics and the date that this “book” is due out.

Media Matters, Brock said, is assembling opposition research files not only on Fox’s top executives but on a series of midlevel officials. It has hired an activist who has led a successful campaign to press advertisers to avoid Glenn Beck’s show. The group is assembling a legal team to help people who have clashed with Fox to file lawsuits for defamation, invasion of privacy or other causes. And it has hired two experienced reporters, Joe Strupp and Alexander Zaitchik, to dig into Fox’s operation to help assemble a book on the network, due out in 2012 from Vintage/Anchor

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen Thinks Mothers Should Be Forced to Breastfeed

Sans my opinion that women should be the “gatekeepers” of birth and the “rock” of the family unit; I am so tired of the “elite” telling us what to do. Screw you Gisele, stop telling us “so called little people” how to live.
From Fox News:

Gisele Bundchen is famous for being the world’s highest paid supermodel, marrying NFL superstar Tom Brady, and now trying her hand at being an expert on breast-feeding.

The 5-foot-11 Brazilian model is causing quite a stir after an interview with Harper’s Bazaar where she told the British magazine that all women should be forced to breast-feed.

“I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breast-feed their babies for six months,” said Bundchen, 30.She went on to criticize American women who do not breast-feed their babies.

“Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don’t have to breast-feed, and I think ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'” she said.

Bundchen may think since she is a United Nations earth mother, she has the authority of “motherly law,” even though she only breast-fed her son, Benjamin, for three weeks. She went on to criticize American women who do not breast-feed their babies.

“Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don’t have to breast-feed, and I think ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'” she said.

You have got to be freaking KIDDING ME! What the hell is a United Nations earth mother and why does any organization need one? It is one thing to advocate for education of mothers and the benefits of breast feeding and quite another to advocate that if mothers around the world did not do this they could be thrown in jail and their children taken away from them Freaks.

‘Everybody Draw Mohammed’ Page Briefly Vanishes Due to Facebook Glitch

From Fox News:

The original “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!” Facebook page — with more than 80,000 followers — vanished briefly from the website Thursday, causing some users to accuse the social networking giant of censorship before the controversial page reappeared on the site.

Facebook officials said a “small technical issue” prevented users from accessing the page for a “very short period” of time.

“Once alerted to the problem, we resolved it as quickly as possible,” the company said in a statement to FoxNews.com. “We want Facebook to be a place where people can openly discuss issues and express their views, while respecting the rights and feelings of others.”

If this was communist China, or Islamic Iran this story would never have gotten out to the general population. And Facebook probably would have blocked the page from the get go. Thank God we live in The United States Of America, where we still have freedom of speech, for now anyway. If Obama and his ilk get their way, the only speech that will be allowed will be speech that they agree with and visa versa. I agree with Ms. Norris, get over yourselves Muslims.

L.A. mayor calls for temporary shutdowns of some agencies

Both the city council and the mayor are to blame. Our elected officials are out of control, no matter where they hold power. Time to kick them all out and start over.
From the Latimes:

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa called for shutting down non-essential agencies two days a week Tuesday as he and City Council members remained locked in a standoff over the intertwined issues of electricity rates and the city’s worsening budget shortfall.
Villaraigosa’s action topped another day of threats and name-calling at City Hall.

Good, shut them down, less government is better government.

The latest escalation of the financial crisis began Monday when the Department of Water and Power took steps to withhold a promised $73.5-million payment to the city’s depleted treasury.

Villaraigosa blamed the action on the council’s rejection of an electricity rate increase, which DWP officials said was necessary to cover the DWP’s fluctuating fossil fuel costs and the mayor’s renewable energy agenda.

As for the renewable energy agenda, the start up cost for renewable energy is staggering. I know, because we are just starting to find that out, here on the Uncooperative Mountain. It’s really expensive to buy the equipment that is needed to do this, so if they can’t pay their regular bills, how do they pay to revamp the grid? And here is another question to ponder; how much of the budget goes to the care of Illegal Alien Invaders and their families?

“The Hurt Locker” wins Oscar for best picture

From Reuters:

“The Hurt Locker” won the Academy Award for best picture on Sunday, capping a historic Oscar ceremony that saw the low-budget Iraq war drama vanquish the sci-fi blockbuster “Avatar.”

I for one could care less about the Oscars. They are run by socialists, attended by socialists, and won by socialists. But it is part of our culture and not going away anytime soon. It is interesting to note that most Americans did not see these films. At least that is what the polls on conservative talk radio reflected. Oh, except “Up”. I will never watch “Avatar”. The only blue people I will let into my home are “Smurffs”.

Meghan McCain Blasts Tea Party Movement, Palin on ‘The View’

Do you think she is too old to be put over her Daddy’s knees and get a good spanking?

From Fox News:

McCain, the daughter of Sen. John McCain known for occasionally parting ways with the views of her Republican dad, was particularly scathing in her assessment of Tancredo’s speech on the opening day of the National Tea Party Convention on Thursday in Nashville. In the speech, Tancredo said people “who could not spell the word vote or say it in English” elected a “committed socialist ideologue” because the country does not require a “civics literacy test.”

“It’s innate racism, and I think it’s why young people are turned off by this movement,” McCain said. “And I’m sorry — revolutions start with young people, not with 65-year-old people talking about literacy tests and people who can’t say the word vote in English.”

You are truly a “ditz”, Lady, do you know how old our Founding Fathers were when they decided on the first revolution? Do you know how much money we are spending for people who do not speak English in this country? The cost of literature alone is staggering. Every piece of paperwork that has to be filled out for anything is usually in multiple languages and if they are not then an interpreter has to be available. I work for an insurance agency, when I’m not writing and just last year they announced that we had to inform clients that an interpreter would be made available to them if they wanted it. This all costs money folks.
