Update on Mon, June 6, 2011 at 7:11 by Registered CommenterMark “Snooper” Harvey

I am about to enter into a Greasy Spoon in Someplace USA where I will strike up the conversations that I have been talking about to many, many people. Many have said that they will follow me and some said that they will ride with me. This isn’t what this trek is all about. I am Callin’ All the Clans Together and that is all.

My small group is not interested in starting a war with anyone except the marxist-moonbats that do exist. The marxist-moonbats have thrown the first punch and all we are doing is finishing the fight that they started. period.

I started this trek by using the following: Sick and tired – marching towards the Constitution of the United States. This was followed by a meeting with The Men of Laredo. This was followed by this very article that I am updating right now.

We are not here to kill anyone.

We are not here to wound anyone.

We are not here to make anyone happy, either.

We will defend ourselves against the marxist-moonbats should they come and see at least myself because I have no idea what the other 42 are doing. Three of the 42 are bloggers and they just might be writing on this now and you will have to see who they are because I’ll not tell you.

Some are saying that I am a retired undercover and armed CIA man…and I am not. I am armed with the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. I have a copy of Madison’s Notes. I have access to Vattel’s Law of Nations. This is what I am teaching. This is what I am preaching. Period.

So, onwards and upwards and I will update as I feel I must.

G’day!

PS: I ran out of the 100 copies of the USC so I will have to stop someplace and get some more copies coming and this is what I need the donations for as well as gasoline and food…I am sleeping in no hotels or motels…I have been sleeping in my truck.

17 caught in search for deputy’s attackers

While Rome Burns all the Liberals and Commies are playing the violin for all these poor, poor Illegal Aliens.
From KTAR.com :

PHOENIX – Authorities have captured 17 suspected illegal immigrants in southern Arizona as they continued their manhunt Saturday for smugglers who they say shot and wounded a sheriff’s deputy in a remote desert area 50 miles south of Phoenix.
Pinal County sheriff’s Lt. Tamatha Villar says the three matched descriptions given by the sheriff’s deputy who was grazed by a bullet fired by a group of about five smugglers Friday afternoon.

I am sorry people, we are being invaded and I think that Mexico is declaring war on these United States of America. Too harsh. Bull, our citizens are being killed and kidnapped, our police are getting shot at, and our border towns are being overrun. What would the brave men that died at the Alamo have to say about this situation? Now do you understand why the State of Arizona enacted their new illegal immigration law? They are under attack.

House OKs illegal immigration measure

You go Arizona!!

From The East Valley Tribune:

Without a word of debate, the House on Tuesday gave preliminary approval to a series of changes in state law designed to combat illegal immigration.

HB 2632 would allow police to arrest anyone who is in this country illegally and charge them with trespass, a state offense. That is designed to ensure that officers have clear legal authority to detain illegal immigrants.

This is what the American people have to do. Don’t wait for the Federal government to take care of you. Although, the constitutional role of the government is to protect its people from invasion. But they are not doing it, so we have to.
Take your states back people, take them back.

EDITORIAL: Sotomayor’s ethical oversight

I usually do not use Editorials, but this is a good one.

From The Washington Times:

Supreme Court nominee Judge Sonia Sotomayor seems to think different rules apply to her than to everyone else.

On Page 143 of her Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire, she said she “practiced alone” in a side legal business from 1983 to 1986 “as a consultant to family and friends.” During that time, she also was serving as a prosecutor and then as a member of a larger law firm. Judge Sotomayor listed the name of the solo practice as Sotomayor and Associates.

Advertising a solo practice as if it has more than one lawyer is a problem. Judge Sotomayor appears to have violated this minor but clear rule of legal ethics for four years.

I know all you libs out there are saying conservatives are making mountains out of molehills when it comes to this Judge. But we are not. This is a very important appointment, it’s a life time appointment to the highest court in the land. It’s unfortunate that we are replacing one activist Judge with a “more” liberal, activist Judge. Judges need to be impartial and conservative. These people effect our lives with every single decision they make. Remember the Kelo decision? Row vs Wade?

Ohio Court Rules Suburb Can’t Take Over Private Property

A Victory in Eminent Domain!

From FNC:

The municipal powers of eminent domain in Ohio received a defeat on Wednesday.

Ohio’s highest court said a Cincinnati suburb may not take over private property to make way for a $125 million development of offices, shops and restaurants.

We have got to restore private property rights in this country. This includes the repeal of private property tax which, in effect, makes us all renters on our own land.

Eminent domain surges after ruling

Are they coming for your property eventually?

From The Washington Times:

The Supreme Court’s decision last year to allow cities and states to seize property for private development “opened the floodgates” to eminent domain actions nationwide, a report says.

In the year since the Kelo decision, nearly 6,000 properties nationwide have been threatened or taken under that precedent, more than half the number that had been seized over a previous five-year period, said a report released yesterday by the Institute for Justice.

“There has been a huge rise in the number of threats to use eminent domain since Kelo. Cities are wielding eminent domain as a club,” said Dana Berliner, a senior counsel with the Institute for Justice and the author of the 100-page report.

People threatened with eminent domain are vulnerable, she said, because they feel compelled to sell or have their home or business seized for a fire-sale price. At the same time, Ms. Berliner said, residents have become more active in trying to thwart land grabs and promoting changes to state law to bar the use of eminent domain.

Since the high court’s 5-4 decision in Kelo v. City of New London, Conn., a year ago Friday, 5,783 properties nationwide have been either seized or threatened with seizure under eminent domain.

That number compares with 10,281 examples over the five-year period from 1998 to 2002, said the institute, a public-interest law firm that argued the Kelo case before the Supreme Court. During that period, threats were made to seize 6,560 properties, and 3,721 condemnation filings or authorizations were recorded.

In the past year, 5,429 property seizures have been threatened for economic redevelopment projects, plus 354 condemnation filings or authorizations, the institute said.

The Kelo decision was a horrible example of the Supreme Court run Amok. You do not take private property away from people to give to another citizen for economic gain, that is stealing!

We have got to tell Congress to fix this problem!

Conn. City Evicts Residents With Eminent Domain

From NewsMax:

New London, Conn. city officials voted to evict two residents whose refusal to give up their riverfront houses helped lead to the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark ruling that governments may seize property for private development projects.

The City Council voted 5-2 in favor of eviction Monday. An attorney for the residents said they are considering continuing to fight.

“You are a disgrace to the city, the state and the nation,” one of the residents, Michael Cristofaro, told council members who voted to evict.

The city has been trying for a decade to redevelop the once-vibrant neighborhood at the point where the Thames River joins the sea. Seven homeowners challenged the city’s plans to seize the property and build a hotel, convention center and upscale condominiums, saying eminent domain can’t be used to make way for private development.

However, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 last year to uphold the city’s right to take the homes, saying municipalities have broad power to do so in favor of private development to generate tax revenue.

I am sorry, but if we cannot even count on owning our own property, what rights do we have exactly? Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness…remember those words? Well, it was said that no one could be happy without owning, and being secure in their, private property.
