Court case warns EPA could ‘own’ your land!

This is really scary and very, very important.
From World Net Daily

A legal team asking the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene in an Idaho controversy is warning landowners that under the compliance order procedures being used by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency virtually anyone could be told to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in permit fees – or face hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and penalties – over ordinary home construction work.

A petition for certiorari has been submitted to the court by Pacific Legal Foundation, an organization working on behalf of the Sackett family of Idaho.

They own a half-acre lot in a residential area near Priest Lake and wanted to build a home. But after excavation work was begun the EPA “swooped in” with a “compliance order” that requires them to undo the excavation and restore the “wetlands,” and then leave it for three years at which point they could seek a “permit” that could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Or they could wait for the EPA to prosecute the alleged Clean Water Act violations, which could result in penalties of $25,000-plus per day.

Plastic pellet incident at Va. school ends in expulsion, assault charges

Do you know what gun free zones are folks? That’s correct. They are shooting galleries. Now, was this a stupid thing to do, yes, should he get punished, yes. But for goodness sake, have him wash the windows in the gym for a month or clean bathrooms in the school. Oh, wait, can’t do that, the school union workers would have a cow. Ok, detention then. Wait, do they even have detention in school’s anymore?
From the washingtonpost.com

Andrew Mikel II admits it was a stupid thing to do. In December, bored and craving attention, the 14-year-old used a plastic tube to blow small plastic pellets at fellow students in Spotsylvania High School. In one lunch period, he scored three hits.”They flinched. They looked annoyed,” Mikel said.

The school district saw it as more than a childish prank. School officials expelled him for possession and use of a weapon, and they called a deputy sheriff to the scene, said Mikel and his father, Andrew Mikel Sr.

The younger Mikel, a freshman, said he was charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault. The case was first reported by the Web site WorldNetDaily.

Randi Rhodes Insists Limbaugh and Hannity Favor Tax Cut Extension Just to Keep Their Own Millions

From Newsbusters.org

As if this line of attack weren’t perfectly obvious, liberal radio host Randi Rhodes attacked Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh on Friday afternoon for favoring the extension of the Bush tax cuts just so they can selfishly keep their own millions of dollars:

Tell Sean Hannity that the only reason that Sean Hannity is advocating for holding out for 98 percent of the American people and holding them hostage is because Sean Hannity makes $22 million a year, that’s why! Sean Hannity makes $22 million a year. If Sean Hannity doesn’t get his tax cut, Sean Hannity is going to pay about $900,000 more a year.

Rush Limbaugh makes $58 million a year reportedly. He’s going to get a tax — if the the tax on the top two percent is allowed to sunset, he’s going to pay an extra $22 million a year. That’s his tax bill, not his salary! That’s his tax bill on almost $60 million dollars. But without it, you know, if they hold us hostage, then Rush will get an extra $2.7 million next year at a time when people are literally standing in line for heating assistance and he’s mocking them and making racist comments about their inability to find a job or their lack of desire to find a job.

Ok, first, it’s THEIR MONEY,dumb bitch. And second, how much money do you make? Are you donating your time for the job you that you are currently employed? Are you taking any money from your employers? Oh, and if you want to donate money to the government you should feel free to do so and add more money to your income taxes. There is a way to do that, all you have to do is contact the IRS. They will be happy to tell you how. Stop telling “We the People” what we need to do with our own money. Bitch!!!!

11 Tucson teachers sue Arizona over new ‘anti-Hispanic’ schools law

I am sooo glad that our country is starting to wake up and “smell, the minority tyranny”. I do not want my tax payer dollars to go to any “ETHNIC” studies. Teach the kids the basics so we can again have “achievers” and not “socially correct” morons. Keep up the good fight people. God is on our side. Oh, no, I said the “G” word.

From CNN U.S.;

Eleven Tucson, Arizona, educators sued the state board of education and superintendent this week for what the teachers consider an “anti-Hispanic” ban looming on Mexican-American studies.

The suit comes in a state already roiled by a controversial immigration law that is being challenged in court.

On Tuesday, state Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne defended the new law, which will go into effect December 31. The law authorizes the superintendent to stop any ethnic studies classes that “promote the overthrow of the United States government … promote resentment toward a race or class of people … (or) advocate ethnic solidarity instead of treatment of pupils as individuals.”

Horne said he would seek the first-ever ban in Tucson for its “raza studies” program, now called Mexican-American studies. Raza means “the race” in Spanish.

If anyone wants to take these dumbass courses on their own, fine, but our children should not be forced, as prisoners of the public school system to do so. Parents please protest, it’s up to you.

Teacher Sues Over Right to Flunk Her Students

From Fox News

At that point, the suit claims, Goudeau was monitored, harassed and disparaged in front of her students. She has since transferred to another elementary school in the district.

The suit seeks unspecified damages for Goudeau’s severe and extreme mental pain, suffering, and anguish; physical pain, suffering and anguish; loss of sleep; loss of quality of lifestyle; loss of reputation and standing in the community; humiliation and embarrassment; medical expenses; counseling; wages; and loss of earning capacity from the principal, the school district, and current and former school superintendents of the district.

I was thinking about using this story on our radio show, The Uncooperative Radio Show as an Up during our Ups and Downs for the week, but I am not sure it is an Up. I mean, what the school is doing is wrong, but the reasons she is suing them for is kinda whinny. Then again, it has brought attention to the horrible practices of the school and what they are doing to our children. So, that is a good thing. I just love the attitude of anyone who works for the government lately. Everything is “too big to fail”.

L.A. mayor calls for temporary shutdowns of some agencies

Both the city council and the mayor are to blame. Our elected officials are out of control, no matter where they hold power. Time to kick them all out and start over.
From the Latimes:

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa called for shutting down non-essential agencies two days a week Tuesday as he and City Council members remained locked in a standoff over the intertwined issues of electricity rates and the city’s worsening budget shortfall.
Villaraigosa’s action topped another day of threats and name-calling at City Hall.

Good, shut them down, less government is better government.

The latest escalation of the financial crisis began Monday when the Department of Water and Power took steps to withhold a promised $73.5-million payment to the city’s depleted treasury.

Villaraigosa blamed the action on the council’s rejection of an electricity rate increase, which DWP officials said was necessary to cover the DWP’s fluctuating fossil fuel costs and the mayor’s renewable energy agenda.

As for the renewable energy agenda, the start up cost for renewable energy is staggering. I know, because we are just starting to find that out, here on the Uncooperative Mountain. It’s really expensive to buy the equipment that is needed to do this, so if they can’t pay their regular bills, how do they pay to revamp the grid? And here is another question to ponder; how much of the budget goes to the care of Illegal Alien Invaders and their families?

Captured Insane Killer Duped Friend to Escape

I worked as an evening Nurse Supervisor for four years at a facility that housed Developmentally Disabled adults. Although most of them were more like children. Some were violent, some were sex offenders, and some were, well, just plain crazy. They lived in houses that are much nicer than any house I ever lived in and they got to destroy them and their contents on a regular basis. Then, the State would just pay to repair and replace that which was destroyed. Needless to say, I quit. There was a lot of things about that job that bothered me, but the one that really got to me was; How in the hell could they put a facility without gates or fences next to a High School and keep sex offenders there?

SEATTLE — An insane killer who slipped away from the staff of a mental institution during a trip to a county fair was recaptured Sunday, three days after he escaped his monitors — and more than 180 miles away.

With a helicopter overhead and dozens of federal, state and local law enforcement officers swarming around Goldendale, 47-year-old Phillip Arnold Paul walked out to a highway in south-central Washington state just as search personnel arrived at the scene, Klickitat County Sheriff Rick McComas said.

“He came out of the brush, onto the roadway, as law enforcement officers were going by,” McComas told The Associated Press. “His intent was to voluntarily give himself up because he knew we were going to find him.”

But Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie D. Knezovich said Paul had just tried to thumb a ride from an area resident who alerted authorities, and seemed to be trying to remain on the loose.

Paul had told a friend in Spokane for months that he was going to be released from the Eastern State State, a mental institution. He went to the friend’s house Thursday after escaping during the Spokane County Interstate Fair, Knezovich said in a release.

Beer tax on tap for health care?

My elected cockroach from Montana is jumping right in with both feet, legs and ass. Yippee!!

From The Bellingham Herald:

Lawmakers are looking at an extensive list of spending cuts and tax increases, including a new levy on the value of job-based health insurance. The latter proposal seems to be gaining ground. It could lead to higher income taxes for some people with particularly generous job-based health care.

Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., said no decisions were made, but he will use the feedback to shape legislation he intends to introduce in the next few weeks. The committee has a critical role to play in the health care overhaul, since it writes tax law and oversees the government’s giant medical insurance programs. Baucus wants to write a bipartisan bill, a goal for President Barack Obama.

I just blogged on all the “sin” taxes we already pay. If you read on you will see that there is no end to what they are proposing to tax. Nooooo, endddd…..

We are being Taxed to Death

I posted the following article to educate everyone on how many taxes we pay on a daily basis. We are taxed on everything we purchase. Be it property, tax, local and state taxes, gas, heating, beer, ect… My state does not have sales tax. But they do have state and city tax.

Now read below and see how the Federal Government has done before and will continue to tax us. Then think about the “Tea Parties” that happened and hopefully will continue to happen around this country.

Do they seem so stupid??? And if you guys out there have a list of “creative” taxes that your local government has tried to lay on it’s citizen’s, comment and let me know.
