10,000′ throng to stop Ground Zero mosque

This is a really indepth article and one that no one, and I mean no one, reported. Not even Fox News. That is scary folks. Please read the entire article and pass it on.
From World Net Daily:

As many as 10,000 protesters from across the country – including family members who lost loved ones on Sept. 11, 2001 – took to the streets in New York City Sunday to fight construction of a 13-story Islamic mosque to be built just steps from Ground Zero where Muslim terrorists murdered 2,751 people in the name of Allah.

Robert Spencer who helped set this up had this to say:

Spencer said despite the crowd’s size and the presence of media outlets from around the world, the U.S. mainstream media failed to show.”ABC? NBC? CBS? CNN? Even FOX?” he wrote. “AWOL.”

And where did they get the money to buy this plot of land that used to be a Burlington Coat Factory?

The building was purchased last July by real-estate company Soho Properties, a business run by Muslims. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, Kuwait-born founder of ASMA, was an investor in that transaction. Pajamas Media reporter Alyssa Lappen noted that Rauf’s father was Mohammed Abdul Rauf (1917-2004), an Egyptian contemporary of Hassan al-Banna, founder of Muslim Brotherhood – parent organization of al-Qaida, Hamas and other front-line terror groups.

Obama’s TSA pick plans to ‘join’ security with unions

Another one of President Obama’s unholy alliances.

From World Net Daily:

President Obama’s nominee to head the Transportation Security Administration previously boasted to a major union that he looked forward to “joining” with them to add value to TSA security, WND has learned.

In Senate hearings, nominee Erroll Southers has avoided giving a “yes” or “no” answer over whether he would unionize airport security workers. Unions across the U.S., however, have been lobbying hard for Southers’ confirmation.

Critics charge unionizing airport security would impose rules on union workers that could impede national security efforts in combating terrorist threats.

Southers is assistant chief in charge of security and intelligence at the Los Angeles airport’s police department.

Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C, placed a “hold” on Southers confirmation over concerns he could undermine safety by unionizing airport security.

Top insurer forces employees to study Buddhist teachings

Technorati Tags: , , , , , Just in case our Uncooperative Readers and Uncooperative Listens of our radio show haven’t noticed; we are an equal opportunity critic of all; even Buddha.

From worldnetdaily

A former Prudential Insurance manager is preparing legal action against the company, claiming she was fired after blowing the whistle on mandatory Eastern religious exercises that included chanting the Hindu mantra “om” in darkened rooms.

Prudential Insurance Co.’s southern California real estate division also required managers to read a Buddhist book, charges the Christian ex-employee, whose name has been withheld pending formal action.

The former manager’s lawyer, Richard Ackerman of Ackerman Cowles & Associates, has written a letter to Prudential demanding the company stop requiring participation in the religious practices and warning he has been retained to pursue claims of religious discrimination, “hostile environment” and harassment against his client that led to her termination.

Ok this is over the top. I believe in freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. But I certainly do not believe in “FORCED RELIGION”. Where is the ACLU? ooohhh I forgot, they only go after Christians. lol

Affirmative action under fire In Arizona

From The Arizona Republic:

A group that wants to ban race or gender preference in state hiring, contracting and university admissions launched a petition drive Monday to get the initiative on the 2008 ballot.

Of course, the Left including the ACLU is coming out to fight it. It appears liberals think that minorities cannot succeed unless they are given special treatment, which is discriminatory. Why should you get anything because of your skin color or sex? Affirmative action is not equality, it is discrimination, pure and simple. I think it is time we all became color blind and not care about sex. You should get the Job, position, or bid based on merit only.

Retro Reprint: Top Ten Reasons To Stop The ACLU

Cross posted from Stop The ACLU:

I wanted to put something up for Labor Day here to get some inspirations sparked. For a while my priorities have been shifted. I want to announce that we will be more active in our original cause and want to thank everyone that has supported us thus far. To get our blogburst reinvigorated, I thought I’d pull out a classic…one that explains why we started and what we are all about…Stop The ACLU was started on February 9th, 2004. We started with high hopes, and we realized we were facing a goliath. There were many reasons why we thought the ACLU needed to be countered, and they are numerous. We wanted to provide a way to inform the public of the ACLU’s agenda, as the MSM sugar coated it. We wanted to be a central database for people to gather, exchange ideas, and get actively involved in real ways of stopping them. It is a monumental task, exhausting, time consuming, and often frustrating. But it is a fight worth fighting.

We would be nothing without our supporters. To all of you, we appreciate the continued support. We have called you to action and you have answered.

There are many reasons to stop the ACLU. For this blogburst I decided to list my top ten list.

10. The ACLU was founded by Communist, with communist ideals, communist goals, and they continue to impose a Communist like agenda on America daily. The founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin stated clearly…

“My chief aversion is the system of greed, private profit, privilege and violence which makes up the control of the world today, and which has brought it to the tragic crisis of unprecedented hunger and unemploymentTherefore, I am for Socialism, disarmament and ultimately, for the abolishing of the State itselfI seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal.”

9. The ACLU does not believe in the Second Amendment.

ACLU POLICY The ACLU agrees with the Supreme Courts long-standing interpretation of the Second Amendment [as set forth in the 1939 case, U.S. v. Miller] that the individuals right to bear arms applies only to the preservation or efficiency of a well-regulated militia. Except for lawful police and military purposes, the possession of weapons by individuals is not constitutionally protected. Therefore, there is no constitutional impediment to the regulation of firearms.ACLU Policy #47

#8. Their outright hatred of the Boyscouts. They are currently doing everything in their power to hurt this organization. They attacked their free speech right to exclude gays, and are threatening schools, and fighting in court to get their charters shut down. They oppose the military supporting them, and will sue the pants off any school that attempts to charter them.

#7. The ACLU are pro-death. Not only is the ACLU Pro-abortion, it’s the ACLU’s top priority. It most definitely takes a backseat to free speech for the ACLU. As a matter of fact, the ACLU has fought against the free speech rights of those that oppose it. If it’s abortion or euthanasia, as long as it’s pro-death you can count on the ACLU to support it. The only exception to the ACLU’s pro-death stance, is if it is a convicted criminal; in this case they are against death.

#6. The ACLU advocate open borders. Not only have the ACLU opposed the Minutemen, a group who are simply exercising their freedom of speech, protesting and stepping up where the government is failing, but they have helped illegals cross the border.

#5. The ACLU is anti-Christian. The list is endless on this one. Under the guise of “separation of Church and State”, the ACLU have made a name for themselves by being rabidly anti-Christian. This is one area where they are most hypocritical. They oppose tax exemptions for all churches, but fight for them for Wiccans. They are against Christianity in school, but oddly remain silent as our children are taught to be Muslims. Whether its baby Jesus, ten commandments, or tiny crosses on county seals, the ACLU will be there to secularize America, and rewrite our history.

#4. The ACLU Opposes National Security. The ACLU have opposed almost every effort in the arena of national security. From the bird flu to bag searches, the ACLU have been against it. No matter what kind of search someone tries to do to protect people, the ACLU have proved they are against them across the board. Its kind of ironic that they don’t practice the principles they preach.

Take a walk into the NYCLUs Manhattan headquarters – which it shares with other organizations – and youll find a sign warning visitors that all bags are subject to search.

#3. The ACLU Defend the enemy. They have a long history of this one. They defended the P.L.O. in 1985. They defended Quadafi in the 1980’s. And they continue today. They have told Gitmo detainees they have the right to remain silent, as in not talking to interrogators. One issue that really disturbs me is their refusal of funds from organizations such as the United Way that were concerned the money would be used to support terrorism.

In October of 2004, the ACLU turned down $1.15 million in funding from two of its most generous and loyal contributors, the Ford and Rockefeller foundations, saying new anti-terrorism restrictions demanded by the institutions make it unable to accept their funds.

The Ford Foundation now bars recipients of its funds from engaging in any activity that promotes violence, terrorism, bigotry, or the destruction of any state.

The Rockefeller Foundations provisions state that recipients of its funds may not directly or indirectly engage in, promote, or support other organizations or individuals who engage in or promote terrorist activity.

#2. The ACLU supports child porn distribution and child molesters like NAMBLA.

As legislative counsel for the ACLU in 1985, Barry Lynn told the U.S. Attorney Generals Commission on Pornography (of which Focus on the Family President Dr. James C. Dobson was a member) that child pornography was protected by the First Amendment. While production of child porn could be prevented by law, he argued, its distribution could not be.

There is no doubt the The ACLU are perverting the Constitution.

#1. The ACLU fulfills its agenda using my tax money. What more can I say on this one?

There are countless reasons the ACLU needs to be stopped. So don’t just stand by and complain, do something. Get involved. Here are some ways you can get involved to help us stop the ACLU.

Support and donate to organizations fighting them in Court. Here are the ones at the forefront.

ACLU condemned for ‘attacking’ veterans memorials during time of war

The ACLU is still at it…

From One News Now:

A constitutional attorney says instead of thanking American veterans for their service, the American Civil Liberties Union is “dishonoring” them by attacking their memorials across the United States.

The American Legion has announced that it is teaming up with the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) and Liberty Legal Institute in a campaign to fight ACLU efforts to remove religious symbols from war memorials. The ACLU has already filed suit to remove crosses at veterans’ memorials, like the Mt. Soledad cross in San Diego and the Sunrise Rock cross in the Mojave Desert, which is now covered by a box.

At a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, Liberty Legal attorney Hiram Sasser accused the ACLU of engaging in “a war against honor and valor.” He said it is “inconceivable in a time of war such as now that the ACLU and others would be attacking the memorials, the very symbols of honor and sacrifice of our national heritage.

“These symbols and these memorials serve as reminders to all of us of the great sacrifice and courage and valor of our veterans,” Sasser observed. The ACLU and its allies “have no respect, decency or shame,” he added.

At that same news conference, ADF senior vice president Joe Infranco noted that it has never been unconstitutional for a memorial to have a religious symbol. “The will of the public expressed so clearly by voters and Congress is being attacked by a few individuals whose legal theory is based on a claim that they are offended,” he pointed out.[snip]

ADF and Liberty Legal are offering pro-bono representation to any municipality that is sued for displaying a veterans memorial that contains religious symbols. Infranco said his group is on a “search and protect mission” to defend America’s veterans memorials from the “misguided fanaticism” of the ACLU.

Thank goodness that they are teaming up to fight the ACLU for free. The ACLU bullies local municipalities into pulling Crosses from memorials and seals. If you are offended by the cross tough! The constitution does not guarantee you freedom FROM religion or from being offended; suck it up. Atheism is, in itself a religion. you must BELIEVE there is no God without any proof.
