US to send additional $150 million to Palestine

This is extremely disturbing and needs to be spread all over the net.
From palestinenote.com:

Washington – US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told the press on Wednesday that the US would be sending an additional $150 million in direct aid to the Palestinian Authority.

Yea, I know where I found this story, but sometimes it is better to get it from the “horses mouth”!

‘Everybody Draw Muhammad Day’ Advocate Rattled by Death Threats

From Fox News:

The creator of a now-defunct “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day” page on Facebook fears she may be targeted for death now that the cartoonist who launched the online campaign has been placed on an execution list by a radical Yemeni-American cleric.

The 27-year-old Facebook page creator — a Canadian woman who asked not to be identified due to fears of reprisal — told FoxNews.com that she was visited at her home last week by Royal Canadian Mounted Police officials who advised her to remove her page and not to talk to reporters. This was reported on July 12th and by July 16th a new terrorist was added to a terror watch list. Now, if that helps this woman or not, I have no idea because the world is so lax when it comes to war on terror.
“I’m scared,” she said. “I’m scared that somebody might kill me.”

The woman created her version of “Everybody Draw Muhammad” in late April, days after a Seattle cartoonist launched the online campaign to protest Comedy Central’s censoring of an episode of “South Park,” in which the Prophet Muhammad was depicted wearing a bear costume. The Canadian woman said she will no longer act as the administrator of such a page.

“I just want to be quiet now,” she continued. “I wish I didn’t do this.”As part of “Inspire,” a 67-page English-language Al Qaeda magazine, Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki — who has been linked to the botched Times Square bombing and cited as inspiration for the Fort Hood massacre and the plot of two New Jersey men to kill U.S. soldiers — targeted the Seattle cartoonist for “assassination,” along with others who have participated in her campaign.

Then this happened.
From The AP:

WASHINGTON — The United Nations has added U.S.-born radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki to its terrorist list, requiring member countries to freeze his assets and ban his travel.

The action follows a similar move by the U.S. Treasury Department last week, and underscores the growing threat officials believe al-Awlaki represents as a terror recruiter and planner.

Based in Yemen, al-Awlaki has taken on a greater role with al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, leading to his placement earlier this year on a secret U.S. government list of terror targets to be captured or killed, according to U.S. officials.

‘Everybody Draw Mohammed’ Page Briefly Vanishes Due to Facebook Glitch

From Fox News:

The original “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!” Facebook page — with more than 80,000 followers — vanished briefly from the website Thursday, causing some users to accuse the social networking giant of censorship before the controversial page reappeared on the site.

Facebook officials said a “small technical issue” prevented users from accessing the page for a “very short period” of time.

“Once alerted to the problem, we resolved it as quickly as possible,” the company said in a statement to FoxNews.com. “We want Facebook to be a place where people can openly discuss issues and express their views, while respecting the rights and feelings of others.”

If this was communist China, or Islamic Iran this story would never have gotten out to the general population. And Facebook probably would have blocked the page from the get go. Thank God we live in The United States Of America, where we still have freedom of speech, for now anyway. If Obama and his ilk get their way, the only speech that will be allowed will be speech that they agree with and visa versa. I agree with Ms. Norris, get over yourselves Muslims.

Iraqi and Iranian forces stand off in oil well row

From Reuters;

Iraqi troops say they will defend the well, where Iranian troops raised a flag for several days this month.

It is unclear how many troops are involved in the stand-off, but as many as 30 lightly armed Iraqi troops usually occupy border outposts in sensitive areas, and up to 10 in other areas. Some 11 Iranian soldiers are stationed near the disputed well.

The seizure of the well, which Iraq says is part of its Fakka oilfield in southeast Maysan province, triggered protests from the government in Baghdad and caused a rise in prices on jittery world oil markets.

The Iranian forces have since pulled back, but Iraq says they are still on its territory, stirring echoes of the border dispute that led to the eight-year Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s, in which about 1 million people died.

“These wells in the Fakka region are Iraqi, and we will defend them to the last drop of blood,” said Brigadier-General Razak Abdul Hassan of the Iraqi border guards at Fakka.

The Iranians are 100 meters inside Iraqi territory, he said, some 80 meters from the disputed well. Iraqi troops watch from nearby, and both sides appear to be hunkered down behind earth walls at their bleak desert outposts.

We are not hearing too much about this situation. I am glad that the Iraqi’s are stepping up to protect their property, but I do think that the USA should be fighting side by side with them against Iran. This is one time that it would be absolutely justifiable. But, I have no idea what this administration is going to do. They hate the troops.

CNN Considers Political Correctness as a Factor in Ft. Hood Shootings?

The Major was and is a Major “Nut Job Muslim Terrorist” period. Case, closed, everything else done. All you Left Wing Socialist, Commie Bastards get over this one.
From Newsbusters:

On Wednesday’s Situation Room, CNN’s Brian Todd actually considered that political correctness prevented earlier action against Ft. Hood shooter Nidal Hasan. Despite referencing “a senior investigative official who…said he has never heard any indication…that Hasan got any favorable treatment…before this shooting,” Todd also cited three others who were certain of the political correctness factor.

The CNN correspondent did not lead his report with any mention of the possible PC treatment the Muslim army major might have received, a graphic on-screen hinted what was to come later in the report: “Hasan’s Contacts & Behavior Examined: ‘Political correctness’ a possible concern.”

Netanyahu Condemns U.N. for Allowing Ahmadinejad to Deliver Address

Good for him. I wish our elected cockroaches would follow his lead. But they won’t.

From Fox News:

Holding aloft evidence of Hitler’s Final Solution, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday railed against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his denial of the Holocaust and scolded the United Nations for allowing Ahmadinejad to speak during its opening session of the 64th U.N. General Assembly.

With detailed reminders in hand of the war that sent 6 million Jews to their deaths in concentration camps, including construction blueprints for Auschwitz, Netanyahu took his turn at the dais to recall the agreement within the world body to create the Jewish state and express astonishment at what he witnessed a day earlier in that organization’s great hall.

He commended those who boycotted Ahmadinejad’s speech, but condemned those who allowed it.

Iran Awaits Ayatollah’s Nod to Build Atomic Bomb

Now, while the Lame Stream Media and the rest of the world “speculates”, I will let my learned readers “decide”. After, I have asked the following questions: How do we know they do not already have such a weapon? Just because the media and the powers that be around the world say so? And, what great plan does the “world” have for stopping them if they do?

From the Times of London:

Iran has perfected the technology to create and detonate a nuclear warhead and is merely awaiting the word from its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to produce its first bomb, Western intelligence sources have told The Times of London.

The sources said that Iran completed a research programme to create weaponised uranium in the summer of 2003 and that it could feasibly make a bomb within a year of an order from its Supreme Leader.

A U.S. National Intelligence Estimate two years ago concluded that Iran had ended its nuclear arms research programme in 2003 because of the threat from the American invasion of Iraq. But intelligence sources have told The Times that Tehran had halted the research because it had achieved its aim — to find a way of detonating a warhead that could be launched on its long-range Shehab-3 missiles.

FBI Interviews: Saddam Bluffed About WMD Out of Fear of Iran

The Left wing loons are probably pulling out their hairs over this revelation. Why weren’t we privy to this info earlier? Because we don’t get to know everything about the ongoing War on Terror. Yes, we are at war people. I know no one wants to say it and our elected cockroaches have made an effective effort to make sure the American people do not believe it. But it’s true. Were at War.

From Fox News:

Before he was hanged, Saddam Hussein told the FBI that he let the world believe Iraq had weapons of mass destruction because he didn’t want his greatest enemy, Iran, to discover Iraq’s weaknesses, according to newly released FBI interview notes.

The former Iraqi dictator, though, repeatedly contradicted the United States’ case for war against his country, saying he had no connection to the “zealot” Usama bin Laden and never had any WMD’s.

The detailed interviews, spanning February to June 2004, were obtained by the National Security Archive and posted on its Web site Wednesday.

I’m going to make time later on today to visit the website and if I find something interesting, I’ll post it. But you guys are smart, visit it and find out for yourselves.

U.S. Says New Find Shows Iran Still Sends Arms to Iraq

Iran has it’s own agenda and they do not care about the western countries or the U.N….

From The Wall Street Journal:

The U.S. military says it has found caches of newly made Iranian weapons in Iraq, leading senior officials to conclude Tehran is continuing to funnel armaments into Iraq despite its pledges to the contrary.

Officials in Washington and Baghdad said the purported Iranian mortars, rockets and explosives had date stamps indicating they were manufactured in the past two months. The U.S. plans to publicize the weapons caches in coming days. A pair of senior commanders said a presentation was tentatively planned for Monday.

show of hands, who thought Iran was going to be helpful to coalition forces in Iraq? Her’s your sign…

This month, Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Iranian support for Shiite extremist groups had grown. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said for the first time that he believed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad knew about the shipments.

Iran has long denied that its government knowingly funneled weapons into Iraq or trained Shiite militants there. It has derided the U.S. claims as propaganda. Several senior U.S. military officials said the weapons caches would undercut the Iranian denials and provide new evidence of continuing Iranian support for Shiite militants across Iraq.

“You can see the manufacturing dates right on the armaments themselves,” one senior commander in Baghdad said. “These are very clearly weapons that were made in the last month or so.”

Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, the top American military spokesman in Baghdad, said U.S. officials were “working on a briefing that we hope to be able to deliver in the next week or so.” He said he would not be “disclosing the substance of the brief.”

Interesting? Let us continue…

Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, focused his recent congressional testimony almost exclusively on Iran, which he said was playing a “destructive role” by funneling advanced weaponry to Shiite militants in Iraq.

Within the State Department, views about Iran have also been hardening. Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, told reporters last year that there were signs Tehran was “using some influence to bring down violence from extremist Shia militias.” Earlier this month, by contrast, he said Iran was playing a “highly dangerous” role in Iraq, and directly accused Tehran of providing the deadly rockets that slammed into the U.S. Embassy compound where he lives and works.

Mr. Crocker also said that recent talks between U.S., Iraqi and Iranian officials had made little progress and failed to persuade Iran to change its behavior in Iraq.

I rest my case.
